Cricket Audio source license
The source code license allows you to use the binary form of Cricket Audio and the Cricket Audio source code.
Unlike the free license, there is no requirement for a credit in the final product (though you can include one if you want), and you do not need to notify us of your releases (though you're free to do that too).
A source code license also entitles you to higher priority technical support.
The source code license also has a few requirements:
- Do not distribute our software to anyone, or post it for download on any site; refer them to our website instead.
- Do not distribute the source code to anyone who does not have an active source code license.
- This license does not permit you to distribute Cricket Audio in an SDK, library, or other software development product. Contact us at for additional licensing options.
The price includes source code for iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8, Windows, OS X, and Linux, and full product support and updates for one year.
License costs are per developer, not per title, so there is no limit on the number of titles which can be released during the license period. (For licensing purposes, a "developer" is someone who compiles code and links to the Cricket Audio libraries.)
If you have a larger team with 5 or more developers, please contact us at about volume pricing.
If you have already purchased a source code license, you'll find the latest version on the downloads page after you log in.
