Cricket Audio 1.2.1 released

New in this release:

  • Added “dsptouch” sample project, showing how to use DSP effects and how to use Cricket Audio to write cross-platform audio code.
  • Added CkConfig.maxRenderLoad settings, to reduce CPU usage when audio rendering is taking too long.
  • Replaced system calls that caused WP8 store validation to fail.
  • Added version of library for Visual Studio 2013 on Windows.
  • Added distortion DSP effect.
  • Greatly optimized all DSP effects.
  • Bug fix: occasional crash on Android due to threading issues.

    Looks interesting, BUT… no Linux support? Is any planned?

    None yet, though enough people have asked that I’m seriously considering it!
